“The Burley” is our specimen water, it’s set in the apedale woods in a peacefull and tranquil location away from everyday life, you have all forms of wildlife and nature around the pool, sometimes visits from swans and gease, the pool is quite deep, some 13ft in places, the pool can be access via Apledale Road, it’s quite a walk so not
ideal for the kitchen sink angler, however, worth the walk if you get on the fish, do not ignore the margins,

Note: You must hold a valid EA Rod Licence and a club membership to fish this water

Access/Parking:
Follow Apedale Road road all the way up untill you see the Railway on your left, on your right you will see a gate, park up, and you will need to barrow your gear down the track follow it down and it will fork off slightly to the right, follow this down and you will arrive at the Burley.
